Celebrating the Candidates’ Dua
At Emirates College School -Nkoowe, we believe in the power of unity, faith, and community. On Friday, our school held a special event focused on the Candidates’ Dua, an occasion that brought together students, teachers, and families to reflect on our shared values and aspirations as candidates prepare for their UCE and UACE final Exams
The Candidates’ Dua is a moment of spiritual significance for our students, particularly those preparing for their examinations. It serves as an opportunity for them to express their hopes and seek guidance and support as they navigate this important phase in their academic journey. This year, students gathered to recite the Dua, reinforcing the idea that prayer is a powerful tool for personal growth and success.
A Meaningful Gathering
The event took place in our school auditorium, beautifully decorated to create an inviting atmosphere. Students, parents, and faculty members came together, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose. The ceremony began with an opening speech by the principal, who emphasized the importance of faith and perseverance in achieving one’s goals.
Following this, students took turns sharing their thoughts on the significance of the Dua. Many expressed how it serves as a source of comfort and motivation during challenging times. The heartfelt recitations resonated with everyone present, highlighting our collective commitment to supporting one another.
One of the key messages of the Candidates’ Dua is the importance of support—both from family and the school community. This event allowed students to feel that they are not alone in their endeavors. Teachers and mentors were present to offer encouragement, reminding students that hard work, combined with faith, can lead to success.
As we move forward, the spirit of the Candidates’ Dua will continue to inspire our students. We encourage all families to remain involved and supportive during examination periods, ensuring that our students have the resources they need to succeed academically and spiritually.
At Emirates Islamic College, we are proud of our students and their dedication. The Candidates’ Dua is just one of the many ways we come together as a community to nurture their growth and development.
In closing, we thank everyone who participated in this beautiful event. Let us continue to support one another, celebrate our achievements, and foster an environment where faith and education go hand in hand. We look forward to seeing our students flourish in their academic journeys, guided by their dreams and the power of prayer.
